From March 24 to 26, we took part in the 13th International Tooling Conference – Tooling 2025, held this year in Trento and organized by ASMET (Austrian Society for Metallurgy and Materials) in collaboration with the Italian Metallurgy Association.

This key event brought together engineers, researchers, and industry professionals from around the world to exchange insights and explore new solutions for improving every stage of the tooling and die casting value chain.
The central theme of this year’s edition? Sustainability, in all its dimensions: reducing CO₂ emissions, optimizing raw materials, and enhancing the performance and longevity of tools and dies.

Representing Costamp Group on stage was our Sales Manager, Michele Tombini, who delivered a talk entitled: “Sustainable production and service behaviour of extra-large die casting dies.”

Michele shared how our experience in designing and producing Giga Tools is helping to redefine industry standards by combining high performance with tangible sustainability.
By their very nature, these extra-large dies simplify the entire production process: a single Giga Casting can replace up to 100 individual components, eliminating the need to produce and assemble each part separately.

This approach allows us to significantly reduce the number of molds required, streamline production, and create a more efficient and consistent workflow, with a lower environmental impact and clear benefits across the supply chain.
All this, while maintaining the durability, precision, and final quality that define our work.

Taking part in events like Tooling 2025 means more than just showcasing our know-how – it’s about sharing ideas, gathering inspiration, and continuing to invest in what really matters: innovative, sustainable, and high-value solutions.

That’s how we envision the future of die casting.
